Sustainable strategy

Together with the business, work is carried out to create sustainable experiences in the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea. The use of nature is also seen as a responsibility, and therefore active responsibility is taken for the unique ecosystem, which is of great importance for both wildlife and millions of migratory birds.

Contributions include annual waste collection along the Ribe Dike, keeping a respectful distance from wildlife, limited use of artificial light and as few disposable materials as possible. At the same time, there is collaboration with local partners who use local ingredients, and tours are created that give guests a closer connection to nature, history and life on Mandø.

Choosing an experience here also helps support the work of protecting nature and preserving the Wadden Sea’s unique landscape and wildlife for future generations.

Tours are offered and created in the Wadden Sea around Ribe and on Mandø for both small and larger groups, so do not hesitate to get in touch in case of requests for a specific date, event or workshop.
